Home Made Sports Deodorizer Spray

Ingredients

  • 35 drops tea tree essential oil
  • 35 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • 20 drops peppermint essential oil
  • optional: lemon or citrus oil
  • 1 oz. witch hazel
  • 2 oz. water

Directions

  • In a 4 oz. spray bottle, combine tea tree essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, and peppermint essential oil.
  • Stir/swirl essential oils.
  • Measure in 1 oz. of witch hazel. *(The witch hazel in this recipe is very diluted, and the small amount of alcohol found in most witch hazel should be fine on most equipment. However, if you’ll be using this spray on very delicate sports equipment I suggest using alcohol-free witch hazel as it will be less likely to have a drying effect on equipment.)
  • Measure in 2 oz. of water.
  • Cap and shake.
  • Spray down sports equipment after each use and allow to dry completely.

Home Made Febreze Air Freshener Spray

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. glass or plastic spray bottle (I like these)
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda or 1/4 cup vinegar if you are using downy unstopables instead of baking soda)
  • 2 cups distilled water
  • 2 caps of rubbing alcohol/vodka
  • 10 drops essential oil (a single scent, or a mixture. Imagine the possibilities!) or you can also substitute 1/4 cup downy unstopables if you are feeling lazy or 1/8 cup of fabric softener

Instructions

  • Measure the baking soda into a bowl and add the essential oil(s) on top.
  • Using a fork, mix the oil into the baking soda. This will help keep the oil suspended in the water.
  • Put the baking soda/oil mixture into the spray bottle (a funnel helps) and top off with the distilled water. Label your bottle, shake before use, and breathe happy–and safely.

Home Made Poo-Purri

Ingredients:
  • 3-4 oz. Spray Bottle
  • 1 teaspoon-1 tablespoon rubbing alcohol or vodka
  • 30-40 drops of essential oil (ex. lemongrass and mint)
  • Distilled Water
  • optional: 1 drop of castille soap,  1 drop of food coloring

Add all ingredients to your spray bottle. Now fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. Distilled water helps to prolong the shelf life of homemade cleaners and concoctions

Before each use:

  • shake vigorously
  • Spray it 5 times, right into the water.

You can also use a dropper format instead of spray - just drop 3-4 drops into toilet before each use

combos to try:
Bergamot + Lemongrass + Grapefruit
Spearmint + Eucalyptus
Lavender + Vanilla
